Stevens served two tours in Vietnam (1969-73, shot down once) AND stayed in the military where he went on to serve as a plank owner of the 160th SOAR and ended up being shot down a second time in Grenada. Uncommonly good collectible and rare books from uncommonly good booksellers.
They include his painted and named APH-5 flight helmet, his helmet bag (zipper is broken) with his patches (two were ruined by battery acid), one of his DFCs (unnamed), his Vietnam K-2B flight suit two (patches were all removed) and one of his 1980s BDUs.
